When we talk about the past, it can be a touchy topic.

Some people usually say the past is the past and it’s best to leave it there. Especially if you are someone who only likes to look ahead. But in my opinion, the past can be a helpful thing. Your past is a blueprint of where you came from and how you arrived at this point in time. Regardless of whether your past is filled with good or bad memories, they are all necessary for your personal growth.

Memories of your past can have the best impact on your life.

But how? There is no better person to talk to then with actor and choreographer Nelson Patino Jr. to discuss his past and what memories helped shape the man he’s become today. And instead of the regular Q&A for this Spotlight, we decided to take it to the studio and have a more in-depth conversation about how his past and his memories helped shape the man he is today.

So what memories do you have that helped shape the person you’ve become? Would you relive them? Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
